It is not possible for someone to actually be given the powers of God because God is unknowable. I think the movie played an important role in allowing someone to see the mysticism that God has because when Bruce meets God for the first time, he is made aware of all his mistakes in life. This proves that God knows everything and sees everything, even if we don't see it. Additionally, mysticism is shown when Bruce gains the power of God because now that Bruce has the power of God, he can control what happens around him. Overall, I think the film did a great job of allowing people to understand the mysticism that emerges when you put your faith
