Paul asserts that Christians do not need human philosophy and wisdom to be complete because they are complete in Christ, in whom they have the divine wisdom of his gospel and perfect and complete salvation. 3) Redemption through Christ Paul affirms that Christ, who is the true God, Creator and Sustainer of the universe, is the Savior and God-Man who has reconciled the sinners of the world with God with his blood, and is the power of faith for we are baptized into the death and resurrection of Christ. The third chapter of his letter reminds them to think about the things of heaven, because they belong to Christ. He advises them to put to death what is worldly in their lives, destroying selfishness, wickedness and envy. (Colossians 3:2-5). Instead, they are encouraged to love others (Colossians 3:12-14), to strengthen themselves with God's Word, and to be grateful to God (Colossians 3:15-17). In this chapter, Paul details the duties of wives, husbands, children, and servants to be fruitful in their Christian lives. Remind everyone of the ethics of being loyal, respectful and
