The Industrial Revolution. The Industrial Revolution took place at the end of the 18th century, and major changes occurred in the country's agriculture, transportation, and economic growth. It then spreads widely throughout Europe, North America and the rest of the world. First and foremost, the Industrial Revolution was a huge moment in history. Employment was increasing and peaked. It also brings rural-urban migration by people seeking good jobs, better living standards, education and so on. Big building societies attracted people to it. The number of towns with more than 10,000 inhabitants in England increased in the late 19th century. Technological change made capitalism grow. Entrepreneurs who manipulated production quickly became richer. The invention of modern technology in industries such as machinery inspired the economic growth of the country and doubled the purchasing power and also the total national income in the 1800s and 1900s. In the early 19th century the mechanization of textile industries sector in Britain was placed by the previous manual labor performed by workers. The increasing use of refined coal and iron production techniques leads industries to search for minerals from silent places. The trade revolution was made possible by the introduction of railways, canals and roads for better transfer of goods from one place to another and also improved the development of the country's infrastructure. Foreign trade created greater demand for manufactured goods. Oil began to be widely used in energy supply as gasoline was used for transportation, but steam engines were the most popular means of transportation as they were faster than the others. Socialists were reformers who wanted to build a better life for workers; some owners increased pay, thereby increasing workers' working abilities and increasing their efficiency. The future of automated business is very bright in terms of machines, especially nowadays companies depend on their machines rather than manpower. Machines in industries have brought more wealth and power, but what consequences? People who work like dogs and pay little based on their contribution in the industry.
