Showing it to students would mean teaching them something totally useless and incorrect. While some themes were portrayed accurately, many were not. Many were ignored and many were completely wrong. This may be partly due to the nature of filmmaking and its tendency to stretch out true stories, but 1492: Conquest of Paradise was a truly terrible film. Works Cited[1] Bly, John.
