In this college many kept one of these secrets because the priest felt it was the right thing to do. Which ultimately wasn't right in the eyes of the Germans. They did their best to protect the Jews who were hiding in the school and blending in with the other children. Until they angered the cook's helper and betrayed them by telling the Germans that they were hiding Jews in the school. So they moved into the school and looked for them. They found most of them and took them away to where they were supposed to be, which was the camps where they were keeping them. It was a sad moment especially for the two main boys because they simply became best friends. Now that this lie has become truth, everything has gone down
