I also thought that I would immediately start to doubt my practices and beliefs after attending this church. To my surprise, after this experience ended I still felt exactly the same way about beliefs. The most pleasant part of my experience was definitely the scenery of the church, from the wonderful baptismal font to the paintings on the windows. My least favorite part of my experience would have to be the sermon, and maybe that's because I'm not used to hearing a quick summary. It actually felt strange to be out of my comfort zone and be a “stranger” in a different church. I can't really say that this visit to this Catholic church really affected me in any way, but I will say that it was a pleasant experience to have in my life.
