INTRODUCTION TO MULTILEDIA SUPER CORRIDOR (MSC) Malaysia is an ambitious country that has its own goals and objectives. A vision known as Vision 2020 has been developed to make Malaysia at the same level as other well-developed countries by 2020. To realize the vision, a first step has been taken. On 27 June 1998, our fourth Prime Minister had launched the Multimedia Super Corridor (MSC), a world-class act, to help businesses around the world test the limits of technology and prepare for the future. For the first time ever, MSC brings together an integrated environment with all the unique elements and attributes needed to build a perfect global media climate. The length of this "greenfield" corridor is 15 kilometers wide and 50 kilometers long and runs from Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC), itself a smart district, home to the tallest buildings in the world, running south to site of the largest international building in the region. Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA). Two first Smart Cities in the world are being developed in the Corridor: Putrajaya, known as the new seat of government and administrative capital of Malaysia, where the concept of electronic government will be introduced, and Cyberjaya, the smart city with multimedia industries, research centers and development, a Multimedia University and operational headquarters for multinationals wishing to manage their manufacturing and commercial activities worldwide using multimedia technology. To carry out the initiative, Multimedia Development Corporation (MDC), a fully authorized "one-stop super shop", entirely focused on ensuring the unconditional success of MSC and its companies, which provides... middle of paper... . ...a basis maintained by the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs and the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment.CONCLUSIONFundamentally, there are seven important flagship applications that have been highlighted by the Multimedia Super Corridor to achieve the goal and goals which is Vision 2020. The seven flagship applications are e-government, smart cards, smart schools, telemedicine, borderless marketing centers, global manufacturing networks, and research and development clusters. The establishment of MSC really helps a lot in the development of our country and working towards achieving Vision 2020. The launch of MSC helps companies to expand their capabilities and try new strategies. It will also create many new opportunities for businesses and develop our country and make Malaysia become a well-known country.
