Even now my love for books has not diminished. My count this year, since January, is 46. And I'm still going. Although, this time last year I was getting books for my list from easybib. Now I keep track of everything I read on Good Reads. It is a website that allows you to keep track of all the books you have read and want to read. It also gives you links to find a place to buy it, even though I have it on hand now, I still think I replayed some from last year. No matter how many books I read, I still have a few that will always remain my favorites. Still, I'm happy I was able to add something to this. I've been reading almost non-stop this year. I could have done better this summer but I'm happy with the numbers. I still haven't reread any of the books I had planned. I have a lot of things on the shelf that I haven't touched. I love being able to read as much as I do, even if it takes a little longer when I have so much work to do. And I want to make sure I read all the books I don't have before I go back to the others. I went back to reading one of the series that I had put aside some time ago. I had a lot of work to do for school and the books were coming out faster than I could read them. Now I have started reading them again from the book where I left off. I'm down to the last book. It makes me really sad to say goodbye to Morganville Vampires, it was one of my favorites for a long time. I remember lying in bed in my old house and reading the back of the newspapers. When they first came out they were quite short, so they were really easy to read. I might tackle two or three in one day over a summer. Morganville Vampires is the kind of series that grabs you from the start. This series follows four friends through... middle of paper... stuff like that. I included the poem O Captain, My Captain because I really like the film A Moment of the Dead Poets. Every time I read it I think of that movie. It's one of my favourites. I wanted to add Nothing Gold Can Stay, but I added it last year. This is another poem from one of my favorite movies/books. The Outsiders is fantastic. Overall I like doing this project. I find many new things. I also like being able to talk about what I read. I could talk my ear off about books with someone if they were willing to listen, a lot of people aren't. Sometimes I do it anyway. I don't think I'll ever stop reading. I can't wait to get a job and I don't have any homework. Then I can just go home and read all night. It would be perfect. Especially perfect if I get a writing job like I want. Reading and writing all day is something I could get used to.
